Maria travelled the far east learning acupuncture and massage techniques, including Indonesian, Thai and Ayurvedic. She returned to Cheltenham in the west with a large amount of qualifications awarded in the east, many from Chinese universities like Shangdong.
Maria passed on her acupuncture and massage knowledge to the her three daughters, son and husband Trevor, and a host of students who've studied at her Bodyharmonics centre in Cheltenham.
